The kit has everything you need and works well

Although the screen replacement is more complicated than it should be (that boy there *LOTS* of wires in this thing), it's not the product's fault. The only thing that can be done to improve this is that there are a few parts that are glued/glued to the screen and digitizer that are not included in this kit. I was able to successfully remove them from the old one and stick them onto the new one, but it would be better if they were included. I'm not sure how necessary they are. Maybe everything…

The lack of valid installation instructions was mentioned the most. However, I find that printed guides pale in comparison to the information available online, particularly YouTube(r) how-to videos. The product not only contained a digitizer and an LCD display with the necessary screwdrivers to disassemble the GamePad. Since my digitizer was intact I used an existing item on the GamePad as it includes a bezel to prevent the LCD light mentioned in another comment from leaking. Without…

Fully working replacement but missing trim.

I bought to replace a cracked LCD and digitizer. Follow the instructions from ifixit dot com. The kit is missing a piece, a small black bezel that is glued onto the digitizer, but is fully functional without it, but the glass piece sticks out a bit at the edge. You could probably remove this piece from the one you're replacing with some heat, but it stuck pretty well so I decided against it. The LCD and digitizer are separate, but the digitizer comes with adhesive so you can stick them together
