Definitely a must for the shop! Disassembled Dana 60 load bearings in 20 seconds per side and with no bearing or seal damage! Is it expensive. yes, but never go back to the bearing/double jaw split method. Save yourself the trouble of using other methods. The beauty is that you don't have to buy or make bearings for your axle.

This tool worked very well. One side is bolted to the body so the axle can be pressed out of the old bearing with a press. Flip the tool over and you can use it to insert the axle into the new bearing and bracket. The optional flat plate must fit other Toyota trucks. Expensive but very well made, excellent finish and welding. Now I just have to make 5 or 6 more camps to pay for it!

Yukon Transmission Application Chart is inaccurate. Didn't fit my model year 4runner. So I couldn't use it at all. I had to make a tool. If your bearing has a round flared flange area, it won't work. Only works with flat bearings, flat on both sides. I'm keeping it because I'm working on it too. So we'll see how well it works once I find a truck that really suits him.
