Holo
Holochain project is something as unique as Bitcoin. Holochain is a part of the bigger project MetaCurrency that is going to change the entire financial system.
Holochain has a user-centric architecture which makes this system much lighter than the blockchain which is associated with data (so every blockchain user has to maintain the entire data processed on a certain blockchain).
We are yet, to fully see if Holochain proves its efficiency, but the same can be said of most of crypto projects.
Pros
- The project was launched even before Bitcoin by a great team
- The Holochain design excludes scalability issues
- There are also some Holochain dApps that are ready to replace the most popular social media platforms
Cons
- Volatility problem is yet to be solved
- Too little verified info about the project
- Little presence on the market
