Lisk
Lisk introduced sidechains to the cryptocurrency community as it is the first cryptocurrency to apply this innovation. Sidechains make the activity on the blockchain easier and faster as the transactions that are yet to be approved are not included to the main blockchain. Another feature is the opportunity to built custom applications on the sidechain. The project is aimed to solve many of the old problems associated with blockchain (slow transactions, spam, etc).
Pros
- User-friendly interface, strong conception, the diverse functionality, welcoming for the applications developers who use JavaScript.
Cons
- Lisk uses questionable DPoS consensus protocol, long block confirmation time period.
