I really don't think it's worth more than $10 and here's why; THIS IS NOT BLUETOOTH Some may already know this; However, the remote only plays a short, high-pitched audio sequence that tells a specific app to take a photo (holding the buttons plays a different sequence that toggles the camera). If you don't believe me, disable the microphone for the app and see how the app fails to take a picture. You can also record a high-pitched sound on another device and play it back for the app and see how the app actually responds to the recording. However, it does not work with other applications like Snapchat.
