A permanent black marker that uses pigment ink so it's truly permanent.

Excellent black marker. I've been using these for 10 years. I've found these to be the only inexpensive markers that use pigmented inks so what you write is really long lasting. Other inexpensive markers that claim to be permanent, which you can find at any store, use different inks and resins. These other inks, like most printer inks, always fade and are therefore not truly permanent. They turn into ugly purple or other colors and then eventually nothing. The only thing that remains after many years is the alcohol-based streak left on your surface. Indeed, see for yourself like I did: mark a white index card with your favorite markers and pens and place it where the sunlight hits; other markers (and non-gel pens) start fading after a month. These permapaque markers are great for CDs and DVDs, especially for all archival and scrapbooking purposes. They are made in Japan with pigment ink water.
