Hello dear friends! We are in the "anticipation" of the repair, and for now we sleep instead of a full-fledged bed on a statically unfolded sofa. While we are postponing the purchase of a full-fledged bed until the end of the repair, I see no reason to do this BEFORE. Recently, our backs have become very bad - we decided to buy a not very expensive and fancy mattress for this sofa, so that later it would not be a pity to put it along with the sofa and put it somewhere. Future bed will be different sizes)) Initially, having rummaged through the sites in search of the best inexpensive mattress, we stopped at Ikeevsky Khavslo and went to IKEA to test - lie on it. The consultant there immediately reoriented us, explaining the difference: in the chosen mattress, in comparison with this one, there is a "wave” effect: when the second person goes to bed, or when he just moves, the first is all given in waves. And in the Hatlevik mattress, this does not happen due to autonomous springs. To be honest, I did not delve deeply into the contents of the mattress, they said that 229 springs per square meter is good. The main thing is to lie comfortably. We bought a mattress marked "hard". In fact, it is not hard at all (I expected it to be like a board), but not soft ... Having chosen and tested the mattress, we took it to IKEA from the warehouse at the appropriate location. The mattress is tightly rolled up, weight 22 kg. Here is a breakdown of prices for a given mattress depending on its size. In a roll, the mattress looks pretty flat. I really liked the thoughtfulness for opening: the place that is supposed to be cut with a knife is lined with cardboard so as not to hurt the mattress! Our mattress is hard, this is shown in the diagram in even stripes. If it were soft, the tick would be opposite the wavy lines. The packaging also contains a picture about opening the mattress: you can unfold it, you can sleep right away, but the mattress will reach the desired position in 72 hours. To be honest, we didn't have the patience to wait. Unfolding process: unfolded easily and fairly quickly. The mattress is gray on the bottom and sides, and light cream on the top. Here is the material of the mattress - and the color is visible here, and the stripes indicating the rigidity, and the texture. All seams are very neat, plump, and there is not even a thought that there might be something wrong. There are handles on the side of the mattress for easy turning if needed. Mattress height - 19 centimeters. Of course, where without a label - so as not to forget)))) We are happy with the mattress! There is no ripple effect, I sleep very well! The first couple of days it smelled a little, but then weathered. Moreover, the smell was not insanely strong, but light - if you smell it from the side of the butt. This, as I understand it, is absolutely normal. And yes, the guarantee for these mattresses is 25 years, and within 90 days you can simply return / change it if you don’t like it. We will look for a good large orthopedic for a new bed later. At the moment and according to our current requests, I think this is the best option. I RECOMMEND!
