Review on ๐Ÿ‘“ Official INFICOLOR 3D Eyewear: Compatible with Batman Arkham City & Assassin's Creed Revelations on HDTV by Brandon Vox

Good 3D for any TV (with a movie or game that supports it)

This is a great way to get good 3D on a standard HD TV. I used these glasses to play through the second half of Batman: Arkham City because I noticed the InfiniColor 3D support in the settings. Being a bit of a 3D fanatic (love seeing the subtle effect in many movies as well as 3D without glasses on my 3DS) and seeing how cheap it was at the moment I had to give it a try. It is really important! I don't know if it's the technology itself or Rocksteady's clever programming, but you feel the depth between you and the thugs you defeat. Because the bats are always so close to the screen how it slams forward is always eye-catching (though not distracting) and performing mid-air dive bombs while gliding gives you a chilling dizzy feeling you wouldn't otherwise get. Yes, it's a purple and green set and you'll have to wait a few seconds to get used to it, but you'll be surprised at how quickly you do it (the weirder part is when you take it off and need it after a long session you might take a minute to shake off that feeling when you see purple and green!). If all the games that support them look that neat, I'll be happy to finish them in this form. It's a bit disheartening that only a handful of games support these points. It looks like this technology was already adopted for several games/movies in 2011/2012, when the post-avatar 3D scene was at its peak and then quickly forgotten. At $30 for what appeared to be just an ornate red and blue set, I can't fault people for ignoring this. What about less than 10? An absolutely great novelty that you should have at hand immediately. I tried to increase my value and get some other games to work with 3D PC software like TriDef3D but even in purple/green mode I could only get it to work in VIEW so unfortunately it looks like like these glasses won't work with games that weren't originally supported. But for games that do (based on my playing Arkham City and a couple of videos I found that include Enslaved: Journey to the West and Assassin' s Creed 3 show), it's a lot of fun. So yes I really enjoyed the time with them. It's a big step up from the old red/blue sets and they get rid of that passive 3D itch for those who don't. I don't want to go out and buy a brand new TV just for fun. You can't expect future games to support this, but there are several well-received games that support it. And for the $7 it's listing here at Revain, it's well worth it for the casual 3D fan. Pick it up and enjoy some eye candy. that all future games will support it, but there are a few well-received games that support it.
