Conducted a subjective comparison test of Titan TFD-4010M12C , Scythe SY124010L and Noctua NF-A4x10 in 1U home server. Loading the N2800 processor at 100% using S&M. Titanium makes a lot of noise, I didnβt measure it, Noctua slightly blew it, t of the processor is 47 degrees at 100% load. The Scythe peaked at 50.2 degrees but was the quietest. Without a valve, the processor warmed up to 61 degrees just at idle (I didnβt test it further). There is a set of "candy" to reduce noise. The nature of the noise has changed with it, there is no thrust left at all, the volume of the noise is the same as it was. In general, a small disappointment, especially since the gain from Scythe is slightly more than 5%, and the noise is noticeably stronger, the price is almost 2 times higher. Reliability will show time, I think that in the presence of dust, a 72-month warranty is just a marketing ploy. But, as a gift for a geek - a thing.
