A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Bought as a replacement for Sony wireless over-ear headphones. I work from home and still always kept one ear open (I donโ€™t like to completely isolate myself from surrounding sounds). So I thought about bone conduction. In addition, it was very infuriating that the hair was pressed down and the ear was sweating. Listened to AfterShokz Aeropex at Dr. Head and realized that this is a great option. Before that, I thought that the sound quality of bone conduction was poor. But it was not so. The sound is very decent (not for music lovers, of course). I also listened to the previous model AfterShokz Trekz Air. It turned out to be much worse on all fronts. I definitely don''t recommend it. Let''s go back to the current model. I charge every night. Enough for the whole day (music, YouTube, calls). But this is at medium volume and in close proximity to the laptop. How they will behave in other conditions - I do not know. Unlike the previous model, they do not rattle when playing bass. Only if you do not twist to the maximum. True, some podcasts like to add low frequencies. In this case, the built-in equalizer helps, which can cut them off (hold down the volume up and down buttons for 3 seconds at the same time). The sound almost does not change at different positions of the rear bow. This allows you to lift it higher, lean back in the chair and put your head on the headrest.

Pros
  • - Surprisingly good sound quality (I used to think bone conduction was a surrogate) - The ear canal is not closed, you can hear when you are addressed - Hair on the head is not crushed (as with on-ear headphones) - The charge is enough for the whole day (see comments below) - The headset is good for this design (microphone is far from the mouth) - Does not rattle when playing bass + there is a built-in equalizer (more details in the comments) - Hold on well, don''t fall off, light - Small sound leakage: at medium volume, the person sitting at the next table does not hear anything.
Cons
  • - The toad pressed a little to pay 14 thousand - Not very critical, but I would like to slightly reduce the pressure on the head. I''m still not used to it. All the time feeling that there is something on the head. (In fairness, itโ€™s also impossible to forget about wearing headphones of any other type).
