So, before I bought this chest of drawers, I read a lot of reviews. And I decided to write my review hoping that it will be useful for someone else to research and decide whether to buy this product or not. I knew that the assembly is long and tedious and the quality is mediocre. This chest of drawers is made of wood and some parts are made of cardboard and plastic. Since I don't plan on having this item for many years, I'm fine with that. And my husband is meticulous and skilled with tools and assembly, so I knew he could do the assembly. Remember: 1) the legs are plastic (I thought they were wooden), but they don't look like plastic once screwed onto the dresser. 2) Takes AT LEAST 2 hours to assemble maybe more (it was assembled by my husband who is quite relevant and works as a builder so is good with tools and assembly) 3) BE CAREFUL WHEN DRILLING as the screws have holes through the can punch visible parts of the plate. *Also, some of the pre-drilled holes were too big for the included screws, so my husband had to drill additional smaller holes on the side of the manufacturer's pre-drilled holes and use those to attach the board.*** If the board is damaged, like it happened to one of us, call the manufacturer. I did this and they sent a free replacement for just that particular board and I don't have to worry about taking the entire dresser apart and sending it in for a replacement. ***Generally, this dresser should cost in the $100 range more for quality and finish that you need to lock up. It won't last for years. Most of the time, the best feature is a cute and stylish look. It's Ikea quality rather than natural wood. I am still satisfied with my purchase, especially since the manufacturer sends me a replacement part if the circuit board was damaged during assembly. The buyer must be informed accordingly and make the purchase. this dresser should cost in the $100 range more for quality and finish you need to complete. It won't last for years.
