I wanted my grandchildren to use the beginner scope on their visits. I am impressed with the overall quality of both the telescope and the tripod. The lens and the eyepiece provide a sharp and clear image. The telescope comes with an instruction manual with easy to follow detailed instructions as well as advice on aperture, optical quality, lunar and deep sky observing. I really like that it comes with two different eyepieces, 25mm and 10mm. Grandkids can start with a 25mm lens and then progress to a 10mm lens. This is a quality telescope for the price!
