Review on πŸŒ€ Noctua NF-R8 redux-1800 PWM: High Performance 4-Pin Cooling Fan at 1800 RPM (80mm, Grey) by Linh Chi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

If you plan to hang a similar fan on the back walls of the case, then it might be worth purchasing the 3-pin version - they are quiet enough not to notice, and with PWM on different boards they may not work correctly enough (they spin at low speeds, although according to the given mode schedules they should already pull almost to full). Fan or board problem: 🀷🏼 About the length of the cable. If you install it next to your mother, you can put this cable in a decent accordion, and if it is in a basket for blowing HDD / TTN, then it just reaches right up to ATX boards in 480 mm cases. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Pros
  • - productive (for comparison, Suntai in some rack cases gives 48.8CFM at a nasty 35.8 dB), - quiet, - long cable - the cable braid is strong enough: when installing 10 times with steel, you will touch the case, - boxes πŸ“¦ have become smaller - more convenient for storage.
Cons
  • - Grey, but at least not their signature nasty shade. In general, taste. - Very long πŸ“ cable :)
