When our XM radio started showing 'No Signal' on every channel I did an internet search and found that the whip antenna on the roof also an antenna is XM. The base is separated from the roof, and moisture destroys the interior. That's exactly what happened. The antenna is connected to the module and the socket is located in the left wall of the cargo compartment. The gold-yellow connector enters the back of the XM module. Squeeze the clamp and separate it. Connect this new antenna and route it around the floorboards and outside of the tailgate roof seal. Sticks pretty well. For the price, it's an easy troubleshooting step and less than 10 times cheaper than a factory replacement that requires removing the headliner! Less money and hassle and works great.
