Review on Yamaha RH1C Black Portable Headphones by Jake Pavelko

I've been playing keyboards for a few years now but have always worn cheap and sometimes not so cheap headphones so as not to disturb anyone in the house. I started crackling in my latest pair of earphones and thought it might be worth checking out Revain for earphones that might have been specifically designed for keyboard players. Although they are Yamaha, I use them with my Roland FP-4. I was dying to try them and when I did I couldn't believe the sound. What sounded very easy through headphones sounds fantastic in these headphones. When I play, does it really sound like a piano, or an electric organ, or an organ, etc. I've just spent the last few hours trying out a few of the voices available on my Roland just to see how different they sound. I highly recommend them. The price is fantastic, as is the sound. One thing I should mention: When connected directly to the FP-4, the audio was very low. I plug my keyboard into a small amp, and then plug these headphones into the amp. Otherwise I wouldn't hear the sound well.
