I bought these heartbroken after my Bose sleepbuds died and I found out Bose had discontinued them. I figured nothing else would protect against such snoring - especially since I tried so many headphones before finding Bose. But I needed something so I tried these and I have to say they work pretty well. I use them with the White Noise app and I've spent several nights playing around with different sounds to find one that works for masking. Snoring - I use a mixture of air conditioning, airplane noise and brown noise. The problem was that I when using JUST Brown Noise or JUST Airplane, I had to turn the volume up high enough to drown out the snoring. but then it was a very loud, non-soothing noise in my ear, so I needed a combination of noises to find something loud enough but at the same time suitable for sleeping. The earbuds themselves are quite comfortable - I don't get hot, they're not too tight or too loose, and they don't hurt. Sometimes when I lie on my side all night, my ear hurts a little because of the headphone disc inside, but that's very minor. I also really like the battery performance. After about 7 hours of use, it still has plenty of juice. I once forgot to charge them during the day and panicked before going to bed, and charged them hastily for about 15 minutes. They still lasted all night without shutting down. I miss my Bose Sleepbuds very much, but they are a worthy replacement. Sometimes I can still hear the snoring through the noise, so they aren't THAT good a soothing sound in my ear, so I needed a combination of sounds to find something that was loud enough but at the same time suitable for falling asleep.
