Great detector but after 3 months of light use and EXTREME maintenance the case broke. It seems to be a very common problem. For nearly $600, this shouldn't happen. If the hull wasn't split it would have been 5 stars. I will start the return process tomorrow. I'm wondering if they will cross ship as I have a lot of travel to do in the next few weeks (soccer season has started) and I don't want to be without him. Updated: 09/17/2015. Replace the detector. I sent mine back and received them on September 15th. I was told they would replace the unit the next day and send me a tracking number. I didn't get a tracking number so I called to check. I was told it would be fixed and the repair should be installed by the original agent I spoke to. As they haven't done it yet they just set it up and I get the detector back in 7-10 business days. After spending $600 I expected better quality and customer service. If you wish to repair the device, please let me know and arrange for the repair at this time. Don't make me call so you can "call back for repair" and then add it to the queue. If you make this simple mistake you're putting me in the queue where I should have been rather than at the end. These are the people of CS 101! UPDATE: September 23 Detector sent back to ground via UPS. I understand you're trying to save money. I'm all for it. But don't promise something to spend the night and then send the UPS to the ground.
