My cat loves this sturdy tree! Brown and gray colors go well with the furniture of our rooms!

I bought 4 of these - two brown and two gray - they look quite elegant in our home and are well built and blend in well with the rest of the furniture and decor. The scratching posts are very strong and stable to withstand the fierce play of my cat who loves to run around the room very quickly and then jump onto the lying piece. (I used to buy one from the same company but it was half the price, unfortunately it lacked stability). But these have the perfect playground upstairs with a couple of scratching posts, a hanging rope, a hanging mouse and a comfy warm bed - perfect for any cat that doesn't like being wrapped in a blanket. More on putting up these scratching posts: I put one of these scratching posts in each of our rooms! Living room - front and back, then two more rooms in the house for my dear cute cat to look out the window. He is an indoor cat and is terribly bored without his 24/7 entertainment channel (our windows). We live in a high traffic area with harsh weather, so I prefer my cat's safety to the freedom of the great outdoors (every day a few pets get lost and can't get back to their owners). :( :(Our house cat loves to chase birds and squirrels by climbing from one room to another. He used to laze for hours on the rather thin and cold windowsills. Bird watching and resting area (nap). My cat now rarely sneezes as it no need to lean against a cold wall or lie on cold window sills. These scratching posts are the right height for me to lower the blinds for privacy. (When I was 20, our house was robbed - turns out, the shortage "Window Privacy gave the opportunists information about our schedules. They used bullets to force open doors, etc. If either of us had stayed in the house, he/she would have been shot. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder has never gone away, even if I am now 40 years old).
