I give 5 stars based on my usage. Game users may have different opinions. I've used the 21.5-inch iMac for my graphics and design projects and edited or combined photos many times. But after a few years he finally gave up. I also have a 2018 15" MacBook Pro but I soon found it too small for what I'm used to. I tried an external Dell 17" that my son had. It was fine, but I couldn't match the color or detail to my MacBook Pro with Retina display. When using Dell I have used both my laptop as the primary laptop and my Dell laptop as the secondary due to sizing issues. I also bought a highly rated Visio but reconfigured it because it was inferior to Dell. When this Lenovo came out, the specs looked exactly what I needed, so I ordered it. I wasn't disappointed! It was easy to connect. Connected HDMI to my external USB-C hub. Since it was larger than my previous iMac, I decided to try it with the laptop closed. Wow! The initial settings were fine, but working with the Lenovo monitor screen settings has allowed me to get closer to my MacBook Pro. (I used picture mode and could have adjusted the color better, but it's very close now.) Using the monitor controls to adjust the picture was a little tricky, but no worse than the 17-inch Dell I had on of work use. Once you understand the process, it's not bad. PICTURES: - MacBook Pro as I currently use it with Lenovo on the back. - My 15" MacBook Pro is open with Lenovo on the back. - Same as above but shows how close colors are to each other on default settings. .- Screen adjustment for brightness and display modes. Detail was much better than Dell's, which for some of the thin line illustrations I make. I don't play games so I can't talk to it, but from what I can see and what Lenovo says I think it will work fine. PROS: - Very easy setup - Light weight - Multiple monitor settings to customize - Accurate color reproduction and very clear image - Minimal bezel on top and sides CONS: - Screen controls can be a bit fiddly - No height adjustment - Can be a bit more expensive than other monitors, but it depends on your needs and usage.
