This is a great product. The recordings are very clear and at the right volume. Because it only turns on intermittently every 15 minutes, the batteries last longer. Turning it on and off is also very easy. I can't whistle well so I got my daughter to record it. My parrots caught and reproduced it immediately. You work with words. As I have two birds this will take longer and be a bit more difficult because when there are two parrots they tend to bond more to each other than to their owner. However, when they listen to the recordings, they start chatting to each other and you can hear them working on the words. Repetition is important, but sometimes it's hard to find the time. Mimic Me solves this problem. It would be nice if additional words could be recorded with the other side of the recorder. However, since the trainers recommend learning only a few words at a time, this probably isn't a big problem.
