Review on Altura Photo Rubber Eyepiece Cameras by Patrick Arnautov

I bought this because the screen of my new Canon T3i was always dirty with oil from my nose when looking through the included viewfinder. I have a protective film on the screen but I kept cleaning it. This eyecup keeps my nose off the screen almost completely and the screen stays a lot cleaner. On the plus side, the eyecup blocks more stray light, making it easier for me to view and frame photos. The limitation mentioned in the title is also noted by at least one other reviewer. There is very little field of view limitation through the viewfinder, when it is mounted. I haven't found this to be a problem with compositing the image, but some people like it. The product is durable, fits very well on the mount and doesn't interfere with simply stowing the camera in a bag. This can be a problem if your camera is already firmly in your pocket. Considering the price, I consider this a definite plus for my camera.
