Review on Versatile and Convenient: Primetime 🐢 Petz 360 Configurable Dog Gate with Door by Matt Welch

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great unit with one flaw

This unit looks great. Rich mahogany with a mahogany finish looks and feels elegant. The device is pre-assembled, so all you have to do is open and unfold the box. I have clips on both ends and use them to keep the kitten in the room when the door is open. Pros: 1. Looks good2. pre-assembled. Assembly is not required unless you wish to reconfigure it.3. Firmly. Self-supporting except for a heavy animal that may tip it over.4. Fair price for quality Disadvantages: 1. The 3 side walls have a larger distance between the bars at the end. The gaps between the bars in the end slots are 2 1/4 inches. The distance between bars that are not in end slots is 1 3/4 inches. This 1/2 inch difference in width allows my cat to slide through the end bar while the cat cannot fit through the holes in the 1 3/4 inch wide bar. The company needs to add another vertical bar on the three side walls to reduce openings that kittens can't slip through. For this reason I have to glue the mesh on the plate so that the cat doesn't slide until it grows bigger. The cat you see in the picture can slip through large holes but not smaller ones. In the 2nd photo you can see more free space at the end. Each of the three panels has two large gaps. There are four panels including the door panel. That's why I deducted a star.2. Supplied without ground anchors to prevent tipping if pushed by a large enough animal.
