AC1300 Runs up to 630Mbps at 120ft

Because I work from home, my desk is in the guest room, which I call my dead zone. Cell phones cannot pick up a Wi-Fi signal, and Wi-Fi connectivity for laptops is almost non-existent. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron I7 with Windows 10. After reading the reviews it might not be compatible with Linux, which doesn't bother me. The laptop's internal card reads between 0.5 and 3 MB per second and I realized that since my work is mostly cloud-based, I found that even though I clicked the save button a few times, I was losing my work ' clicked. Because of bad connection. At first I thought the bigger the better so I decided to use a different brand of USB wireless adapter, the AC1750. It connected at 1300Mbps but the adapter got very hot and caused my router to crash resulting in a complete loss of internet for everyone in the house. I thought it was a problem with my router so I changed my router 3 times in two weeks. I even tried it on my friend's AT&T network and it crashed his router too. So I returned it and got a TP-Link AC1300. The AC1300 transmits from the dead zone at 630MB and doesn't overload my other devices. So far it has been reliable. I do not regret the purchase. I will update my review after 6 months. If you are not sure whether to buy this one or another, avoid the headache and just buy this one. resulting in a complete loss of internet for everyone in the house.
