did not return the power cord

I have a problem with the power cords. Either the Acer is defective or the power cord; If you move the laptop 1/2 inch, the power cord will fall out. Tried to insert. Worked briefly, then stopped charging for 10 minutes. The only way I can get it to charge is to hold it in place with a pinger so it gets in the state. Acer is already starting to fail all the time. I'm going to type and I understand that even if I put the cursor in first place and find that I'm typing, it will be transferred to…

Pooh. Computers and tablets

They design it to look like a MAC. Trust me - it's NOT a MAC. it's terrible. complicated and inconvenient to use. not intuitive at all. I had it within a day - and then sent it back. then i bought a macbook air. 6 times more expensive. and it costs extra money. Don't waste your time with this horrible car.

Nice laptop but obsolete in 2022

Being new to the Chrome OS, I wasn't aware that Google puts an expiration date on automatic updates on Chrome devices. These devices are supported by Google AutoUpdate for 6.5 years, and the AutoUpdate support period begins on the first date the device is available, not the date it was purchased. This Chromebook, the Acer CB3-431, was originally released in 2016 and automatic Google updates for this device will end in June 2022. It will continue to function, but after that time it will not…

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Out of style

This is the first Chromebook I've owned! I had a Windows PC and am an avid Apple Mac user! This Chromebook is a beauty, love the gold color! This Acer 14 Chromebook is fast! Turns on and off quickly! Switch between pages quickly! I'm learning how to use it, the only thing I wanted was to transfer some stuff from my Mac to a Chromebook with a flash drive, I really just had to open google docs and create spreadsheets and add all the info. It took a while but I think it will work! I've only had it

Super cute and FAST!

I use it in the kitchen while drinking my morning coffee. I'm using it to write a review right now! I LOVE this Chromebook! Super light metal body, I didn't know when I bought it, it's a super nice brushed aluminum body. Super bright and clear screen. Out of the box, I turned it on, signed into my Google account, updated the OS, and synced to my account. Everything was installed and I was up and running in less than 10 minutes. If you like Chromebooks, this is awesome. Got this to replace an…

A Really Good Chromebook

I'm a software engineer and I needed a relatively inexpensive laptop that I could take with me while not having to worry about my Mac, worth over $2,000. About the book. I do a lot of cloud development and use a lot of resources online, so I figured I didn't need to lug around a regular laptop. Since I obviously type a lot, I was hoping for a decent keyboard and was pleasantly surprised. The keyboard on this machine is actually quite comfortable. And let's be honest. Most of the things we do on

Quality laptop (cloud based) for the price

Your typical $250-300 Chromebook isn't as well built as this example. I bought two for my kids for school as all their classes are online. and in the cloud (Google Docs, Microsoft Office Student, Zoom, etc.), all of which work here. The FHD screen (Full HD [1920x1080 pixels]) also shines in this class. The keyboard and trackpad are surprisingly good too, and the speakers are above average too. For the first week, both Chromebooks I bought lasted 10 hours +/- an hour or less consistently on a…

Very good device - Computers and tablets

This is my first Chromebook so I have no comparison. The build quality appears to be excellent. I bought mine in gold color and it is beautiful. Nice IPS display. I run it with a resolution of 2500 x 1400. Extremely thin and light. The chicken-style keyboard takes some getting used to, but it's fun. For those browsers that complain about the lack of a CapsLock key, all you have to do is use the Shift key. Also, for those reviewers who complain about the lack of SD card support, this is…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Can be damaged

The device was bought for the simplest tasks - surfing the Internet, watching streaming video, working with office programs, content from a flash drive. Given the low price, there are no comments on the car. Before buying, you just need to clearly define the tasks that you set for the gadget. Everything that the device wanted to do at 5, high download and work speed, decent battery life (up to 9 hours), sufficient memory (64 GB) for installing basic programs and the possibility of expanding it…

Pros
  • Excellent balance of functionality and cost.
Cons
  • No

I bought it for working with documents, browsing social networks, watching videos, participating in video conferences. I have been using it for three months very actively, several hours a day, it has never let me down. The connection during zoom out is always stable. The only thing I use to improve the sound is a speaker, I connect via bluetooth. I also managed to buy it for only 16,000. People do not believe that such a quality workhorse could be bought for such money.

Pros
  • Appearance, screen quality, functionality, performance. Does its job perfectly well.
Cons
  • No
