Homemade O-Rings Made Easy

I purchased this stock of O-Rings to fit my O-Rings onto Gamma Seal Screw Caps. When I bought the Gamma Seal caps, the o-rings lasted a few years and then fell apart. I ordered a large supply of o-rings and made my own. Use super glue to stick them together after cutting. It's an easy fix for those caps and more. Top quality and will last many years longer than the original white O-ring that comes standard with the caps.

Pros
  • Hardness (Hardness) 70A
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

It worked great. I will be using it on my other ATV

My 110cc ATV the rubber O-ring has broken. Found and tried this product. It worked great. I will use it on my other quad. This rubber is tougher than the o-ring I replaced, but it remembers better and doesn't warp like the old one. At first I was concerned that it might not compress enough to snap the lid open, but it worked. Too bad there wasn't more choice of lengths to buy.

Pros
  • Buna-N (Nitrile, NBR) O-ring cable for use with various fluids and hydrocarbons
Cons
  • Not sure

Ideal for necklace cords

I've made necklace cords out of this, I like it much better than leather. Where leather wears down over time, it will last longer and look just as good to begin with. I use it along with Buna O-rings to frame the center section and 2mm clasps at the ends of the chain to finish it off. I have customers who come back just asking for plain versions of these so they can bring their other necklaces. Works great on the neck in all weathers without causing itching or scratching.

Pros
  • Available in different cross-sections and lengths
Cons
  • Crumpled
