less than ideal for pressure and vacuum

Seems to work most of the time, sometimes turns off and needs to be off for a while. This is the only pressure sensor I could find

Pros
  • Absolute range 0 to 25 psi
Cons
  • Outdated

Easy integration into RPi using Java

Successfully integrated into Raspberry Pi used in airmast systems. The outside diameter of the connector is 0.1 inch. I installed the entire board in a section of PVC pipe and used a sealed data out connector. Works well with Arduino and PI4J. All the information you need can be found on the Honeywell website.

Pros
  • Product Weight: 1.1g / 0.0oz
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Broke pretty quickly

Plug in cable and go was easy. Average 5 -10 readings quickly and use that as your output value. The problem is that it was used for *maybe* 2 hours before it stopped working. I2Cdetect won't find it on the bus anymore, so programs won't detect it. Edit: downgraded to one star The second one I got took about 10 minutes, then crashed and gave an error saying it had "Integrity Violation" It's garbage.

Pros
  • Product dimensions: 17.8mm x 16.7mm x 7.5mm / 0.7" x 0.7" x 0.3"
Cons
  • Expensive

Broke pretty quickly

Connect and it worked without any problems. The values jumped around a bit, so it's best to take an average of 5-10 readings quickly and use that as the output value. The problem is that it worked *maybe* for 2 hours before it stopped working. I2Cdetect won't find it on the bus anymore, so programs won't see it. Edit: Reduced to one star. The second one I got took about 10 minutes and then gave an error saying it had "Integrity Violation". It's garbage.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
