Good product. on computers and accessories

I use 4 of these and no problems so far. Good product and easy to work with. However, you can purchase them directly from Adafruit for half the price.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Style 90

Buying direct from Adafruit would save me a few.

Buying directly from Adafruit would have saved me a few bucks but the shipping is slower there and I needed it badly. Does everything a small motor driver should have.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Easily control small stepper motors from Arduino processors.

Makes working with TB6612 easier. This drives most small stepper motors to NEMA 17. The Adafruit software library works very well with the TB6612 and this module.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • A few little things

Ideal for Water Lock Solenoids

Need a Water Lock Solenoid Driver for a small garden watering project, it worked in a day with no hassle, would be happy to order more. Shown with ESP8266 microcontroller, 315MHz RF receiver and key fob - TB6612 is located on the breadboard at the top of the case.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Ease of use best suited for single board computers

Very easy to use. Just flip some digital output pins to drive two motors. Great for our project of using an Arduino with a sound sensor in Billy Bass' talking fish to drive lip sync motors with a Google Home Mini that we placed in the talking fish.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • No form required
