Ideal for Chrysler/Dodge plastic rivets.

Matches well with plastic rivets for Chrysler products. Worth the price. The included free tool is a bit cheap, breaks easily on plastic push pins. At least it was free. LAUGH OUT LOUD

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great Product: Body Repair Tools

Read some reviews about Mandrel stuck and steel shaft puller broken. Installed the fenders on my RAM and no issues with the mandrel sticking. As for the bolt puller, how the hell do you break a steel stock. This product is highly recommended!

absolutely useless don't buy a rip off

My husband just started installing mudflaps on my jeep and they broke after the first rivet. The pieces are stuck inside and cannot be opened to get out and now they are stuck and useless. The rivet pieces should fall out, but they are not stuck in the tool. I will file a lawsuit to get my money back and buy from someone else. so disappointed but i think you get what you pay for

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • I have doubts

Fits body repair tools

This worked very well. The thick plastic rivets broke very cleanly, as you would expect from the 2013 Challenger. It's perfect for mounting in the trunk, under the car, or maybe in the front wheel arches if you only spin the wheels when parking. For the rear wheels, you will likely need to jack up and remove the wheels to use them. Overall it feels very solid, works well and the downsides of the long build are easy to understand when purchasing.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing

Second rivet broke

My second plastic rivet broke while still clamped by the inner jaws. There is simply no way to completely loosen the jaws and remove the stuck plastic rivet. It seems to me that for this there should be a way to disassemble the tool or loosen the jaws. I had to do the rest of the rivets with the help of a pier and wire cutters. I would pay extra to get a professional tool - I can't imagine Jeep technicians working all day would use something like this. Sent back and refunded.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

Does the job for the price

Riveter does the job well at a low price. It worked well, but only one of the six plastic rivets cut off cleanly, the rest leaving a small protrusion. Still fully functional but not that clean looking. I tore off the stock fender on my Jeep SUV and used this rivet gun to replace the factory rivets. It's not that important for my jeep as the rivets are very reliable, but if you want an aesthetically pleasing look spend a little more money. The rivet remover worked well.

Doesn't work with Chrysler Fasteners

I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos to make sure I'm using it correctly, but this tool didn't work! Maybe mine is broken. But I was trying to install a hood seal and the tool just slid over the rivets and didn't do anything at all. I squeezed as hard as I could with both hands and a few times and he probably just tugged a little, that's all. I ended up using pliers and the included removal tool to do it by hand. Then this tool cut off the ends on the rivets, but that was all it could do…

Great kit, highly recommend

I bought this for my 2008 BMW E70 X5 3.0si. The front and rear fenders have one-way rivets that will need to be replaced if the fairing is removed. The rivet removal tool proved invaluable. You have to pry out the old rivets and this saves time compared to using a flat head screwdriver. The gun itself is solid and works great. I'd say about a third of the time it cuts the rivets too early or the cut piece gets stuck in the gun, but it cleans up easily and the rivets are cheap so no big deal. I…

You will need this one someday

the product looks solid and will probably work when i am ready to use it. In any case, for the time being it will be sent to my tool box along with other tools I have purchased for future situations. What I love is that it comes with a FREE rivet remover - so two for the price of one. Eventually, everyone with a new SUV model will use these tools, as most automakers now use plastic liners around the wheel wells to reduce rust. If the finish is damaged these tools can be used to remove old…
