Alpine always delivers.

I installed it on my Land Cruiser with factory amplifier. and I couldn't be happier. 6.5" component speakers with no bulky boxes. everything is modulated in cables. but the best thing is the rich, rich sound processing. they are neither bright nor dark. right in the middle of the spectrum. and the mid-bass is tight and not muddy. Even after a week they impress me when I play rock I can't imagine you could find better value for money in component speakers.

Excellent finishing kit for the money. Your sound is very clear. I used an Alpine KTP-445U 45x4 amp for the components and the rear speakers are also Alpine, also 5 1/4 2-way and the amp is set midway. They have great bass response, I wish the tweeters had a little better crossover, but you can dial them in for a very clean sound. I would recommend this kit, if you need a clean sound for more power I would recommend the R-type kit.

Alpine always gives me what I want.

I've been using Alpine for almost 10 years now and I can say the quality of their cones has dropped a bit. I remember they were more durable but we know they are meant to maximize profit but I can say they make an AWESOME sound. I would recommend them as an upgrade, but also remember that they have the most value when connected to an amp or aftermarket head unit. I'm currently using them without a booster and I have to say the clarity is still there. I will always recommend Alpine to anyone…

Best Value in Automotive Electronics

If you're looking for a replacement speaker set that's good buy these, but know they sound a lot better when you amplify them and we have many more Clarity, but unless you decide to use an amp when powering it off your stock deck or aftermarket deck, you may have trouble getting some of the clarity and tone you want, given the basic package in perfect packaging from Alpine and it came with Alpine CERT letter so for $100 it's better than your average Best Buy speakers and the fact that I bought…

Excellent value for money for these speakers

Installed in 2005 GMC Sierra Extended cab, front doors. Kenwood DMX125BT main unit. Alpine KTP 445A amp.PRO: These Alpine S-S65C S-Series 6.5" component two-way speakers sound leagues better than the stock speakers and even the 5.25" Kenwood speakers they replaced. The car's front doors accepted 6.5-inch speakers. The speakers are basic with no modifications. The tweeters had to be modified on the door panel, I'd say average craftsmanship, but they came with enough hardware options to make them

They sound great even if they have a hole in them.

I drive a 2004 Long Cab Silverado with no Bose option. When installing this product, I accidentally punched a small hole in the cone. I was very upset because I thought I ruined the whole speaker. However, after some research, clear nail polish, and paper towels, I quickly patched the hole and it sounded great. I'm actually surprised that there isn't a difference in sound between a damaged speaker and an undamaged speaker, but I'm not complaining. The self-tapping screws included in the kit are

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

After replacing the standard speakers in a circle, I was very pleased with the sound detail that appeared and the ability to hear the voice and instruments at any volume level of the standard GU. The sound of the tweeters is very balanced, while the sound range and acoustic picture are wide, the sound does not hurt the ear, perhaps those who were dissatisfied simply did not install the filters from the kit. I recommend to buy.

Pros
  • Sound - compared to standard speakers - 5 points
Cons
  • Mounting rings included do not eliminate the need for additional podiums. Tweeters only need to be embedded into the panels, or put on top of the adhesive tape, although this option has the right to life, given the possibility of adjusting their direction.
