Straight Seat I'm satisfied, no problem

This is a secure, straight seat with no problems. All bolts and threads correspond to the factory bolts. Cheaper on Amazon than Advance.

Pros
  • Hands-Free Operation
Cons
  • -

Exact factory replacement

I replaced them on a 24 year old XJ. Let's say it was long overdue. USE penetrating lubricant days in advance on old bolts! They were "easy" to install once you got hold of them.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Fits my 2001 Cherokee

Just make sure you do one at a time and pay attention to the alignment of the bolt holes and slowly lift the motor to line it up. It took me about 15 minutes to replace both with a rigid impact wrench. So far so good after a month.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great for 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ

Great replacement for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ. After 22 years my jeep was in urgent need of replacement, the photo shows the condition before the replacement. Noticed less vibration and no knocking when starting.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Hard to say

Worked on my jeep yj

1. these things regardless of brand, easy to install, only problem was their bottoms (where they fit the threads snugly) weren't flush but nothing, something Hammer action and vise won, not caring. For the price I would buy again for my jeep yj.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Great value engine mount

Mounted on both sides of the engine on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee. The fit was perfect and it looked like an OEM part. Fixed some engine vibration and movement. This Jeep has electric fans and the engine moved forward far enough to occasionally touch the fan. Replacing the old mounts with these completely eliminated this problem.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Can't remember

2572 ONLY for XJ Cherokee

2569 will not fit for XJ Cherokee. Requires two 2572 mounts. Often purchased together Add All Three button gives you a 2569 and a 2572 plus a gear mount. That is not right. The Anchor website lists two 2572s. DO NOT order them this way. Otherwise they look like they will work. The problem is with the order, not the product.

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Something else

So far, so good. for spare parts

The engine mounts on the Jeep XJ are fairly simple. At least they should be. At the same time, these mounts sit significantly higher than my previous mounts. I was able to relieve my original mount by simply placing a block of wood on a jack and pressing lightly on the oil pan. The old one came out, the new one came in. This is where I noticed a difference in mounting height. This bracket will likely sit a half inch or an inch higher. Luckily I had another jack and an extra 2x4. Since there…

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Discontinued model
