Good Price - Receiver

Easy to assemble and install. Receives good signals even though the towers are over 60 miles away. Some channels are less reliable and may change depending on time of day, wind, atmosphere, etc. Vansky customer support was responsive and helpful. 2 helpful tips from my experience: Don't use a cable that is too long, say 50 feet max. Use good quality shielded cable throughout the chain. - Contrary to the illustration in the manual, point the remote control at a small power adapter near the TV…

Cheap cable. Died 15 minutes later. Installation.

Advantages: Easy installation. Spins and has excellent reception. Cons: The included cable is cheap. Very difficult to screw to the antenna and power supply socket. 15 minutes. After installation, it stopped working (there is no indicator light on the antenna, it does not rotate, reception is minimal). I tried to fix the error in every possible way but it still didn't work. I ended up running to Mendards and buying a new cable to replace it. Since then it's been working great. I chose not to…

Much better than expected

I was very pleasantly surprised by this antenna. After ordering I found AntennaWeb.org and when I plugged in my location it said I could receive 3 channels but only if I put it at least 30 feet off the ground. I thought about canceling the order but thought for the price I'd give it a try. I'm sure glad I did! I installed it about 18 feet high and got 35 crystal clear channels without rotating the antenna! I haven't dared to go in any other direction yet. The nearest TV station is 55 miles…

Works as requested

I got exactly what I was looking for. The photos and videos I have shared show a temporary installation that does not require drilling holes in the house. You still need a power receiver unit to operate the antenna and receive channels. While the design is lightweight and easy to set up, it feels like it's about to break. I'm just saying this for those with a hard hand who like to drag things out. If you try this method it will break. Yes, the remote control is weird. There are two buttons that

Works straight away

Very easy assembly. Very easy to connect to the TV. It's mounted on a J-shaped pole about 25 feet off the ground. We had a digital FCC station card and pointed the antenna in that direction when we installed it. We have a TV that scans for channels. It is locked at 56 stations. The local PBS station was 5 bars easier. Most stations are 86 miles away and that pulls 2 to 3 bars. We tried a rotator and it rotates the antenna slightly and we were able to fine tune the signal. More distant stations…

WE CUT THE PLATE for TV & Video

This is our second purchase. The antenna worked so well we had to buy one for the house. Not wanting to climb onto the roof, we hired someone to remove our satellite dish and install the antenna on the antenna mast, and after replacing a short piece of damaged coaxial cable, we connected it to the existing cable in our house. Now we can watch 38 */- local channels on three TVs in our house (2 each at the same time, but it seems all 3 are working at the same time). On days 2 and 3 we had…

Works great - great price

I spent 6 months looking for good antennas to cut the cable, finally bit the bullet and made it. I originally went for the top 4max for around $130 and then figured why not try it at 80% off. In the worst case, can I send it back? Assembly took about 10 minutes, then I found a 1" PVC pipe to clamp to my garage rafters for a quick test and hooked it up to the existing wiring runs. worked crystal clear!, about 51 channels, my TV towers are about 40 miles away, for some channels I just press the…

The unreinforced ears of a 20-year-old rabbit worked just as well.

This replaces a 30 year old antenna that is 5 times the size but no gain. I figured it should draw about the same number of channels on the same rod at 20ft. I have all the low powered UHF stations, but much tighter, much more powerful networks on VHF were patchy. The strongest station on Channel 10 looked pixelated when pointed directly at it, about 14 miles away. I threw away the included coax as another review suggested - slightly better but still pixelated. I unplugged the power supply from

Works great, easy to install!

I haven't had terrestrial TV since they went digital so I was a bit skeptical how it would work. I live in a mountainous area but my research showed that I had a clear view of the mountain where the TV towers are located and I live about 35 miles in a straight line from them and my reception was excellent. My ordering and installation experience: The order was as expected from Prime, it arrived quickly and was well packaged. The instructions were better for a Chinese product and assembly was…
