This device works very well - impressive!

I decided to try this device on my outdoor TV antenna which is on a hill about 200 feet above my house. Most of my stations point south, but I really wanted it to point southwest, and sometimes it didn't fit so well because the antenna was pointing south. On the same mast with my huge VHF antenna I added a good UHF reflex antenna, turned the UHF towards the HF station, hooked them both to this combiner and attached the coax cable back to the house. Surprisingly I have found that almost allโ€ฆ

I bought this ClearStream 5 to replace an old fashioned multi-element periodic antenna that I threw in the attic when I cut the cable a few years ago. Most of our stations are 45 miles west, and we live in the woods, so we've had to miss a lot, especially when it's raining. I placed it in the attic a few feet away from another antenna and it immediately had much better reception on our VHF channels. One channel went from 80% to 100% and the other from 60% to 80%. However, the UHF reception wasโ€ฆ

Ordered antennas Direct EU385CF-1S but received StellarLabs 33-2230

just shown. As marked, Stellar Labs 33-2230 has arrived and is listed separately here: https://amazon.com/Masthead-Antenna-Combiner-Inputs-Combined/dp/B015ZSVDAW/ but is marked as "Currently Unavailable". Nonetheless, I've decided to stick with the Stellar Labs combiner as its performance is very close to that of the established Antenna Direct model - maybe about half a dB extra insertion loss, but I'm not set up to measure this accurately and all signals pass pretty strong in both areas. ClearStream 5 connects missing FM channels

We live in Westchester County, NY, more than 40 miles from NYC transmitters. We unplugged the cable about three years ago when our combined phone, internet, and cable bills exceeded $200 a month. At this point we installed a VHF/UHF loft antenna rated for >75 miles nominally. Up until this year we had no trouble getting the OTA channels we wanted to watch, including WNET, the PBS channel in New York. However, from May 2016 it became increasingly difficult to track WNET and WPIX until about 10โ€ฆ

For everyone where ClearStream 5 "suddenly " stopped working!

As many people have said on here, the antenna worked great and suddenly stopped working. This is most likely due to poor design, but can easily be fixed by anyone with basic knowledge and costs $5. The most likely cause is the coaxial cable being connected to a fragile circuit board in a black box. I have a hard time moving the antenna during installation to determine the best location. To fix this, remove 4 screws from the junction box to remove one half. There are then two nuts holding theโ€ฆ
