Wanted to give 5 stars but couldn't

Love these shorts. They're not too long, have a modest, snug fit, and are great for working out. The quality seems high. My main criticism is the side pockets. The hole is so narrow I can't put more than two or three fingers in to try and get what I put in. The remote control from the phone or timer fits perfectly and comes out easily enough. But pocket keys or something and you'll be pushing down on it with your other hand until your fingers can enclose it. If only Anthem Athletics would fix…

Pretty good shorts that fit Active shorts

I like to buy shorts that fit my phone. I have a large LG V20 and they fit. I bought two colors. black and grey. For some reason, black suits slightly better than gray. I'm 5ft 7in, 154lbs, 28 or 29 waist and slim fit, but could be a bit slimmer. If there was an XS option I think it would be better. The drawstring is unusually long and is on the outside of the shorts rather than the inside of the waistband, which I prefer. The shorts could have been a little tighter to look less like basketball

Good product but didn't work for me

Appears to be a quality product and very user friendly. It is very light and does not restrict movement at all, so it is very comfortable. I think it would be good for training. I returned mine for 2 reasons: 1) I was between sizes. The small ones fit well around the waist but were a bit tight in the seat. The medium ones fit the seat better but were too loose in the waist. This may be due to my oddly shaped body and may not affect others. My waist is 31 inches and my seat size is 37 inches. I…

PERFECT shorts for the modern day bodybuilder💪🏼

I would like to start by saying that I bought the NEW Generation G2 shorts which seem to have solved many of the problems that other reviewers had. I have to say these shorts feel great. !They are not too long, not too short. Exactly right ;) I can't STAND to squat or deadlift and my shorts are hanging on my knees. These shorts are about 3-4 inches above the knee (see squat video) and do not affect my performance. I'm a 5'11" male, my weight ranges from 155-180 pounds and my waist size is 30-32

Great fabric and fit, lots of little issues

I usually buy cheap Old Navy gym shorts but I find they tighten me up a bit on squats and other powerlifting. I figured they would provide good 4-way stretch without spending over $70 on Lululemon or Rhone shorts. Size XL fit me perfectly (6ft 4in, 230ft) and hit just above the knee. They feel great when climbing - much better than traditional polyester sports shorts. Love the feel of the fabric, soft yet durable and it stretches great. The shorts undermine a number of small issues. The pockets

Overall not bad but the design could be improved.

I am 5ft 10", weigh 220lbs, waist 36-38". I ordered size XL and they fit great. Overall I like the material, the stretch and the fit of the short shorts. from the gym. My boyfriend thinks they make my ass look amazing and my thighs look like thunder. BUT I have 3 criticisms of the design which can be summarized as Lift, Fish and Shuffle. 1. The thread does not go all the way around the waist. The lace goes from hip to hip. If you go running with full bags, play the lifting game. The drawstring…

Not bad but I'm not smitten with them

I want to replace my favorite workout shorts - Adidas Basic 3-Stripes with nice deep pockets and 8 inch inseam. Great for training, running or just most of the new shorts seem to be very long but I'm not a basketball player and they look silly on me. got them, put them on just to see how they fit/feel, haven't really worked with them or owned them for a while but here are my first impressions. PROS: - I love how they look, feel and fit. With my build extra long shorts don't suit me and I think…

Not just for CrossFit or male models under 25

My workout attire consisted mostly of basketball shorts and old baggy t-shirts that were about to be thrown away. I had a relationship with the gym over 20 years ago and athletic wear has become just another accessory to wipe away sweat and collect chalk residue. Eventually, the seams start to fail and baggy clothing becomes uncomfortable as you scrape the barbell against your shins. and hips trying to stay tight. I tend to steer clear of clothing modeled on Instagram because there's no way I…

Almost 5 stars. in mens

There are many things I love about these gym shorts and a few things that keep me from giving them a 5 star rating. First of all, they fit perfectly. I'm 5ft 10" and 190lbs and bought the large size. If I continue to lose weight and reach my goal of 175 pounds, I will go for a medium size. This will make my glutes and quads look good. I like the length too. . I can't stand shorts that catch on my knees when squatting and the inseam length prevents that. I also like the side pockets best. The…
