Description of 🍎 Optimized Apple SuperDrive with USB Connectivity

The sleek, compact USB SuperDrive. Whether you’re at the office or on the road, you can play and burn both CDs and DVDs with the Apple USB SuperDrive. It’s perfect when you want to watch a DVD movie, install software, create backup discs, and more. Only slightly bigger than a CD case, the Apple USB SuperDrive slips easily into your travel bag when you hit the road and takes up little space on your desk or tray table when you’re working. You’ll never have to worry about lost cables with the Apple USB SuperDrive. It connects to your Mac* with a single USB Type-A cable that’s built into the SuperDrive. There’s no separate power adapter, and it works whether your Mac is plugged in or running on battery power. The Apple USB SuperDrive is compatible with Mac models from 2008 and later that don't have a built-in optical drive. MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models with USB-C ports require a USB-C to USB adapter (sold separately) to use Apple USB SuperDrive. Connections: USB-A.

BEWARE! Revain sells older products

I bought this Apple USB Super Drive in July 2019. It recently stopped working with my computer and Apple made an appointment for me to take it to Best Buy. Best Buy told me the disc was made in 2014 - it was already 5 years old when Revain shipped it. I've also been told that Apple devices with pre-2015 software are not compatible with current versions of Catalina or Big Sur OS. This information was also confirmed by Apple. Revain's customer service is poor - I spoke to Francisco and then to…

Mandatory purchase =)

Arrived today and already excited! I've had my MacBook Air for at least 2 years and it was a much needed upgrade. Didn't feel like paying money for it as I feel it should already be included, but that's another story for another time. I didn't expect this item to arrive before Monday, but I received it today, Saturday. so I really appreciated it. The product itself has been pretty amazing so far. I originally bought it for things like setting up a printer etc but I've tried out its recording…

Well built, quiet, slow and can't rip a whole CD! Not recommended.

I bought this drive looking for a reliable and quiet drive. I use it on PC and recently added MAC Mini. This drive is well built and quiet, but that comes at the cost of good performance. It's very slow. Especially when copying CDs. I don't know exactly when it started having copy problems, but now it's not working on at least one of the higher numbered tracks. The disc is finished ripping but the track is broken. Usually towards the end of the route. This happened to 4 of the last CDs I…

The Apple logo should be at the bottom.

Here at Revain it was ten bucks cheaper than what Apple charged in the store. We have everything Apple when we can. It was very easy, plug/play. Luckily I read the reviews and remembered that one reviewer mentioned that it's upside down when the Apple logo is seen from above. My husband tried using it this way. Flip it silver side up. It's very thin and compact. Plays and burns discs efficiently. So far no problems. We were dismayed that the new iMac desktops don't have a drive bay. We recently
