So far so good with emergency kits and accessories

I filled it in for emergencies. The plastic isn't as thick as you might think, but it holds up well. bag, nothing special.

Emergency Preparedness Earthquake Preparedness

Bought and kept under the sink next to the bathtub. Everyone in the family has read the directions and knows where it is. If an earthquake occurs that does real damage, we should brace ourselves for the water while someone is home. It feels heavy and solid, which is reassuring because if we have to use it, we're going to need it.

Great product best in emergency kits and supplies

During the snow storm we just had. Because of all the big breaks we decided to use this just in case. Worked great. We never really needed to use water but it was so easy to use and could have been a lifesaver if we ran out of water or got boiled. It's nice to have that as insurance. Will buy another one!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

Ideal cooking method

This product is a great hurricane product. For about a week we had boil water alert in my area. Luckily I had it and was able to get 65 gallons of clean drinking water before the storm hit. I have just received my second bladder which I ordered direct from the company and I am using my old pump again. As I type this, it sits in my hurricane drawer.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Having problems

Disappointed to say the least.

Bought for my hurricane preparedness plan. Well it started dripping when I filled it up. Then, when I carefully began to dump it as the hurricane rolled by, it tore its neck. Good idea, but the quality of the material leaves a lot to be desired. It's nothing more than a large zippered bag. Not worth $30. 10 bucks maybe. There's a reason they state you can't reuse it. Because it doesn't survive the first use. In theory, you can reuse it by draining and drying it, using a hair dryer, and even…

I hope I will NEVER need this "capsule" for an emergency but it gives me peace of mind in an emergency. Kit, it was properly packaged although NO COMPLETE seal of the box was visible so it is possible that the components were stolen or fell out during transit. I'm hoping to build a collapsible structure to accommodate a second bubble. /pod in the near future as having enough water in a long-term emergency is paramount. GOOD IDEA!

Just a big zippered pocket. I prefer the WaterBob design.

AquaPod seals with Ziploc opening. To fill up, you put a zipper on the tap and have to close it again when you fill it up. When you go for water, you put the pump in the zip hole, but you have to hold it with two hands - one to squeeze the pump and the other to hold it in place. WaterBob design is much better. It has a funnel that is attached to the faucet (with tape in my case) and screwed onto the bladder. Do it, step back, and come back in a few minutes. It has two holes sealed with plugs…

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Every house should have one of these. each of

Okay, we just got done with Hurricane Matthew and of all the things I bought to prepare for, this is my FAVORITE. In just a few minutes, I was able to fill my tub with comfortably clean and protected water. I couldn't believe how easy it was. I'm terrible with charts and instructions, so at first I was a little concerned that I wouldn't understand how to use it. But it's EASY. It's been two days since the hurricane and our advice is to boil water so there's still water in my tub. If I just…
