I love these shoes! As I got older, the shoes I wear became more important. These shoes relieve me of knee and back pain. Not all Asics shoes do this, but the Gel Nimbus line does a great job. I have three pairs of Nimbus 18s and they are great for running. I tried on a pair of Nimbus 19s in my usual size 9.5 and they were way too small, even going half a size up didn't give me the right fit. So I found another Nimbus 18 online and snapped it up. I currently have 6 pairs of Asics Nimbus: one 16, two 17 and three 18 and they fit me really well. I bought these shoes because I have a high arch. I am a nurse and wear them to work. They numb the big toes. They are too tight to wear. I have never had this problem with any other shoe. I kept wearing them hoping they would stretch, now it's too late to return them.

I love these Asics Gel-Nimbus 18s! This black/silver/charcoal color was not found in stores in my area and I am so glad I waited to order from Revain to get this color. Now I literally walk on clouds, this is what these soles look like! With great arch support and a cushioning sole I have happy feet, happy feet and definitely feel less tired after a workout. I'VE BEEN WEARING THE GEL NIMBUS FOR YEARS AND BUYED DOZENS OF PAIRS. I CAN ALWAYS TAKE IT OUT OF THE BOX, PUT IT ON AND STAND IN THE BARS CHAIR FOR HOURS WITHOUT FIRST THINK OF DISCOMFORT. HOWEVER, ASICS HAS CHANGED THE PATTERN AND REDUCED THE SPACE IN THE FINGER BOX. I BOUGHT A PAIR 1/2 LARGER AND ANOTHER PAIR A FULL SIZE LARGER. This is my 4th pair from the Ascis Nimbus range. What I like is that they have good padding to protect the knuckles and possibly other areas. I'm a runner and had a calf injury and a stress fracture. At first I thought I needed to change my shoes and bought other brands but they didn't suit me. A word of caution, if you have wide feet or are a long distance runner be sure to go up a size. After years of battling PF, having had some success going to physio, an orthopedist who didn't help, and lots of insoles, stretchers, boots etc this shoe feels great. There are times when I can walk without pain! will it heal my legs no they still hurt every morning but i walk for hours every day its part of my job and these shoes make my life walkable again. Thank you, the most comfortable shoes for my PF with heel spurs (btw I still wear prongs in these boots, I won't go without them).
