Description of Versatile Assorted Abrasives for Furniture, Woodworkers, and Automotive Needs

Sometimes when we are sanding smaller objects, we need, well, a smaller piece or just a strip of sandpaper. We could always cut one of our expensive 9" x 11" sheets and hopefully not cut too much off. Or you can reach for the correct grit inside the box dispenser and tear off just the right amount for your project. Each grit roll is 1" wide and is flexible enough to be used on most any shape. These abrasive strips work exceptionally well on rounded objects such as turned pens, bottle stoppers or any other smaller type of turning. They also work on most any type of material and can be cut to any length needed. Stepping your abrasives from low grit to high grit is an essential process for finishing your pens, pencils, bottle stoppers or any wood project in the proper manner. Each roll is made from hard to find J-weight cloth backed sandpaper. Available in 150x, 240x, 320x, 400x, & 600x. The center opening of each roll is approximately 1-1/2".

Must have in woodshop

I burn through these rolls of sandpaper while turning wood. This metal rack is simple, durable and easy to assemble. I keep it right above my last one and love its ease of use. The grit is engraved on the metal, making the strips easy to tear off. I highly recommend.

Box is fine: Power Sander Parts & Accessories

Box is fine. The sandpaper looks ok. Holes in the box had to be cut out to allow the sandpaper through. I'm going to use scissors to cut the sandpaper to the right length instead of your fragile cutting board. It's tempting to buy a metal holder for the sandpaper roll

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Lots of things

Damn Good for Power Finishing Tool Parts & Accessories

AWESOME! I like it! Super practical dispenser is just great. Not only is this a great combination of cereals, I am impressed with the quality for the price. incidental. It was one of 3 Amazon orders (wrapped) together in one package. This is the only item that survived without damage while the other two items were broken.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Dodgy Purchase for Seniors

Convenient and handy in Power Finishing Tool Parts and Accessories

Perhaps adding longer rolls of sandpaper would have made it more beneficial, but the convenience couldn't be better! Having a small batch of sandpaper right on my desk - organized and discreet - is very helpful. The metal blade allows for quick and easy tearing off of small pieces. And a variety of papers are suitable for most purposes.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons

Bad quality control.

So this is crazy. This is a good product. The sandpaper backing is a tough fiber material, but the box needs to be fixed before use. The knife blade on the box points backwards. You can pull with all your might and it won't cut. I had to drill out the rivets, turn the blade over and re-rivet it. Now it works fine. such a pain too much trouble i will not buy it again

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Only available in white

Very economical for twist grips.

Excellent product for turning and other small filming jobs. High quality paper, abrasive will not be erased. It's also quite thick and won't crack when sanded. The cutting surface on the box helps break off small pieces, but isn't sharp enough to cut yourself. I'm very satisfied and will buy it again when it's gone.

Product works as it should and seems to be holding up

I have not used most of the product but what little I have used seems to be a quality product and it is holding up appropriate. Time. The metal holder has a lot of semi-sharp edges that really need to be filed. A cardboard stick (like a toilet paper roll) containing rolls of sandpaper is really cheap crap, but should last a long time with proper care. A nice feature is that there is a part in the metal bracket that acts as a cutting blade. It works well enough.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

The length is all wrong

Each time I use this abrasive I remove about 1 foot sections and go from low to high grit like any normal person would. When my 600s got low I figured it was going to be a little bit soon, but I didn't give it much thought. Then I ran out of 150 and did some research. I have about 8 feet left of the 240, 320 and almost 12 feet of the 400. There were so many. 1 inch sections 20 feet long? I do not think so. Anyway, it's not mine. I want my money back.

Pros
  • Or you can get the right grit in the cardboard dispenser and tear out just the right amount for your project. Each abrasive roll is 1" wide and flexible enough to be used in almost any shape. These sanding strips are ideal for rounded objects such as turned handles, bottle caps or other smaller types of turning.

Essential for any woodturning enthusiast

Wide range of grits needed to quickly achieve a smooth finish on any wood. Practical dispenser for tear strips. The strips of sandpaper themselves are of high quality, slow to clog even on valuable wood and will last a long time if used properly in a woodturning project. As with any good sandpaper, it's important that you work at the correct spin speed and allow the sandpaper to get the job done with the right technique (from coarser to finer grit) without trying to quickly speed up the…

Pros
  • Changing from low grit to high grit is an essential process to properly finish pens, pencils, bottle caps or any other woodwork.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Incredibly comfortable but not perfect

I have been sharpening a lot of wood and I always cut small strips of 120-600 grit sandpaper. I was keen to try this product as it saves a lot of time. The price is not bad, the sandpaper width is good for my job, the grit range is just right and the cutter works very well. The fabric backing is over the top for me. This makes it difficult to work with sandpaper; it is less flexible for grinding bends and cracks. I'm used to cutting 1/2" x 4" strips and stacking them in 1/4" increments when…

Pros
  • They also work with almost all materials and can be cut to the length you want.
Cons
  • Expensive
