PERFECT PART 2017 Honda CR-V

Great price, fast delivery. The seller is great too. Highly recommended. Be sure to remove ALL plastic debris from the broken release button, which will likely be inside the shifter button itself. Small parts are held in place by assembly grease. Speaking from experience here. Ha.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Fast delivery and good price.

Make sure all parts of the old button are removed before installation. Black in the hole is hard to see. I thought I had all the parts but I missed a few. The lever didn't go into the park. I was able to pry the pieces out of the aisle side hole after removing the skin to gain access. Works great now.

Easy to replace and perfect fit

I bought this for my 2017 Honda CRV and it worked great. Note: Make sure you get ALL the old/broken parts. If you leave even a tiny bit of the old there, it will interfere with the new. Once he's there, he won't come out. This fits well and serves its purpose.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Remember to select all broken parts before inserting the new part!

already done twice (we have two CRVs from 2017). If an OEM part breaks, up to 5 parts remain in the switch. You must be sure to select ALL defective parts. Use a flashlight and tweezers or you will find that the new part "doesn't fit" because it hits one of the broken plastic parts of the original Honda shifter.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • bad instructions

Identical to the original part, best in body and finish

This solved the problem for me. The shifter works again. Just make sure you remove the entire handle from the wand (you'll need a screwdriver to do this). Don't just install it by inserting a new handle entirely out of the old one. My old button broke into 5 pieces in the handle and I made that mistake. I had to disassemble everything to get the new handle back so I could remove the little bits of plastic left over from the old one.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Shame on you Honda!

Product works! hope it lasts Be sure to remove any dirt before installation, otherwise you will not be able to switch passage in the opposite direction. It becomes a big problem for #utt when you have to take it out to get rid of the garbage inside. It's a Honda, it's supposed to be reliable, but if you look around there are hundreds if not thousands of people who have been breaking this thing for years. Shame on you Honda for still using this part!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

when installing it is better to remove the whole handle

I canceled my first order because it is stuck and does not switch to P or L. When you buy the product it is broken and there will be pieces of plastic to the touch. So don't hesitate to remove the plastic cover (the one facing the radio). I just use a small, thin knife and pry them off. You will see two screws and just remove them. Now you can shoot knowing that the case can slowly pop out. After pulling out the handle, remove the plastic fragments, they can stick to the fat, and even with a…

Looks and works just like the original

Bought to save me a trip to the dealer to replace a broken shift knob. The product looks the same as the original part. Following the instructions on YouTube, I took the debris out of the shifter and then shifted it into "L" gear. As soon as he was there, he stood up immediately with a slight movement. I'm deducting a point because it's the same cheap plastic as the original part and I expect it to break down like the original in a year or 2. At least it's cheap and easy to replace.

  • Great for outdoor activities

Perfect replacement for our 17 CR-V

The shift knob broke on our 2017 CR-V. We have a service bulletin from Honda to bring the car over and they will fix it for free. But leaving the car and arranging a job is such a hassle. I found this at Revain and the price was right. Came in 2 days, replaced. The exchange is very easy. I decided to remove the derailleur from the derailleur stem so I could slide it in and work on getting all the little bits and pieces out. The hardest part was removing the cover to get to the screws. The part…
