Excellent lightweight stool

I have had several of these simple step stools and I really like them. They fit easily into small storage spaces, are lightweight and easy to open. You have to be careful to open it fully and when you step on it you have to make sure your feet are over your feet (and not both feet in the middle). We keep one in the car and my husband sits on it when he works on tires.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Mystery

Superb compact stool

This is the second one I bought. The first is in my kitchen and is used for all sorts of things around the house. The second in the truck is great for getting into the engine bay without having to climb on the tire. They fold fairly flat and take up little to no space when not in use. I find them quite sturdy and I haven't had any issues with their stability. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a "quick step forward".

  • All is well!

Perfect for toilets (and showers)

This is the perfect little ladder to keep in your closet to reach high shelves. It's lightweight and very durable. I've been using mine for many years. I recently sprained my ankle badly and used it as a shower seat. It shouldn't be used on slippery surfaces, but I only sit on it, don't stand on it, and the fact that I can get in and out of the shower spray makes it very convenient for lathering and then rinsing. favorite product!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Protection

DO NOT BUY IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY.

The seat has worked great for 6 months. I use it for sewing or crafting for about 30 minutes a week. I was sitting on it right after Christmas (I weigh 185 pounds) and it collapsed under me and I fell into the wall next to me. Thank god I didn't get any serious injuries but there were bruises from it. I contacted the company about the seat and mailed it to them on January 6th "for review". It is now February 3rd and I had to send 3 additional emails as the apartment was sent back by them and I…

Great for the shower

I have a smaller version at home and in my RV. I actually use it as a footstool when I'm sitting on the patio. We recently remodeled our bathroom and wanted to buy a small waterproof shower stool. After checking out the $200 teak stools, I stumbled upon a taller version of what I already have. For €21, the investment was worth it and I am very happy with it. Another poster mentioned that his chair wouldn't lock and I didn't have these issues, so I'm wondering if that person's chair is…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Available in white only

Lawsuit Pending

If this seat were a drug, it would already be banned by the FDA. I loved that little seat, I still love it. But it's just not sustainable in the long run. I threw mine out a week ago after it completely collapsed on me while standing next to the stove over a pot of boiling water. Ouch! Luckily, I fell off the stove and avoided being doused in boiling water. I remember reading that it's not designed for use on uneven ground, and I think I might have taken it outside once in the couple of years…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Required for people with vertical disabilities

I'm under 5ft 2" (5ft 2") tall and have vertical mobility issues and my bedroom closet shelf is 79". ( 79 inches) tall, which is useless to me. Needless to say I have tried for years to toss seldom used items onto this high shelf, but unfortunately anything that was successfully thrown was left behind as I couldn't get them back. Thus, this much-needed storage space was never available. This lightweight folding stool weighs only 3 pounds. This gave me an extra 15 inches so I can easily reach…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

I wanted a larger foldable step stool and already have a 12" B&R stool and I love it. I ordered another brand of 18" first because I wanted the largest possible, but it was ridiculously unstable and unsafe. It had no locking mechanism when open and it would collapse if my cat rubbed it while it was on it It also didn't have a non-slip part on all legs, half of the non-slip part didn't even reach the floor! Definitely don't buy the 18" model! Anyway, I finally found a 15" B&R. It's not as big as

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

5 stars for this GREAT STOOL! I'm very picky and I know what I want, so I do my homework before I buy most things. After researching stools over 10" tall and taller and shorter (we returned the undersized large box to Depot) we are VERY SATISFIED with this folding stool. ► ► ► Dimensions (folded): 20 inches high x 30.5 inches wide x 2" thick ► ► ► Dimensions (opened): 15" high, 12" wide and 10" thick. I was drawn in by the whopping 15" height (several inches taller than any stool I could find…
