Not the greatest, rusts immediately.

Works fairly well but the screws holding it together rust immediately. Why don't they use stainless steel!? Really, a few cents more?

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Frequency

bad outlet thread fits well pumps

3/4" thread outlet sucks. The metal is so thin and the threads are so badly formed I couldn't use them. I got the outlet as a 1" - Milling cutter used and slip collar on it. Seems to be working fine. Especially since the pump seems to be fine.

Pump for 3 months for borehole pumps

Worked well for three months, then broke. At first I was very satisfied. I poured a lot of water. Pretty calm. I used it all the time and built a filter around it to keep dirt off the impellers. Too bad I'm quitting, I'm looking for a replacement. I was hoping it would last at least a year.

Pros
  • High quality design
Cons
  • There are nuances

Great little pump for the price

Depends what you do with it but we use it to pump water into a barrel about twice a month to water our garden. Works fine for that. We used to pay the same amount for a smaller chain store pump that was more difficult to service and lasted about a year. This made it summer and works fine.

Works exactly as described, great pump for 12v application

I bought this pump to pump water from a pond to a storage facility in a very rural area. I liked the fact that it was a 12v pump and I could just plug it straight into a battery or my 12v portable solar system. It works really well - it has enough power to pump water through a 100 foot -Hose and a head of 15 feet to pump 20 feet are no problem. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more. The first time I started for an hour. I just pumped the water back into the pond to see how it worked and it…

reasonable pump for small PV irrigation system

I connected this pump (12v version) directly to two 100w solar panels (connected in parallel). In this state I can get enough flow from the pump. Operating Conditions: Lift approximately 10-15 feet (head) and 20 feet of 1 inch pipe in line with 200 feet of 2 inch plastic polypropylene pipe. Under these conditions, I was able to lift about 250 gallons of water in 30 minutes. Please note that the check valve is an important element when using a solar panel to power the pump. A 100w 12v panel will

Yes, this pump can pump!

When I first started thinking about a solar water system I looked at Revain and found this pump. This 12vdc drain pump was inexpensive so I took a chance. with a short "garden hose" at the inlet to a car battery. This thing can shoot water up to 20 feet! If you've ever had a storm flood your home and the power went out, this pump could have saved your life. To be honest I haven't run it in a long time so I wouldn't recommend putting your life on it in an emergency, but be aware that it does use

This pump is amazing!

This little pump is fun. It won't die. I connected it to a 100w solar panel with a small charge controller and a small gel battery. I installed it in a small pumping station in freshly packed sand and mud. we had a small tornado and 19 inches of rain spilled the tank out of the tank, how the pump didn't break I can't imagine. The pump literally sits in a mud pit pumping out mud, sand, clay and who knows what else garbage for 15 days. Here the drain is pictured exiting over a 25 foot mound of…

Update: 09/25/2021. Good flow but questionable durability and build quality

Update September 25, 2021: I decided to give this pump a second chance because the price was so attractive. This time I bought two 24v versions to pump water out of my shallow fountain and into my ornamental water feature. BOTH pumps died within 2 weeks of operation. I think the pumps are failing due to water getting into the motor housing. I have since replaced it with another pump that has been running for a month with no problems. Those Bacoeng pumps are unreliable junk. I contacted the…
