There will be no smoldering

The smell is amazing but it will only smolder for a minute or two. I assume they need to dry out? I've even held the cigarette lighter close to it a couple of times to make sure it's burning. Still does not work. I'm not sure if wood base is the safest material.

Incense very difficult to light

These are logs and too thick to light. And they don't burn either. I used up nearly half a pack of matches trying to get one lit. The smell is nice, but that's the only good thing about them. Update: no need to bother - thrown away the rest.

Pros
  • Consistent test results

  • Very expensive

The scent of Christmas.

As a child we always had log cabin incense sticks. I remember walking through malls and smelling the burning smell, happy memories. A few years ago I started looking for these incense sticks in stores. This year I tried online and WOW! I am sending one to my sister as a Christmas present. Thank you for continuing this tradition.

The scent is honest, nostalgic

This incense has been burning for many decades! Stable quality and smell! When people claim it doesn't glow properly, it's because they're doing it wrong. Light the wand by holding a steady small flame under the cylinder until it is self-contained. Then when it has a round crown glow, blow out the flame and place in your fixture of choice. Enjoy!

But I like everything about them.

. I can't burn it! Not sure if they got wet in transit (I'm in southern New Mexico, it's late May so they definitely didn't get wet here), but after turning them on and off they still just burn for a while few minutes and flicker. I'll try a coal bed, see if it helps. I appreciate that they don't have any flammable substance like the cheaper incense sticks, but at least the substance stays burning!

Difficult to light and keep lit. Your design needs to change.

once you can light them up they stay and they work fine. Most of the time they would only burn 1/4 to 1/2 of the way down and stop. At best, it was difficult to get them to ignite. . It's a decent product but they may need to work on how they're packaged to get more airflow and stay lit more easily. . Unless something changes, I wouldn't buy it again.

Perfect for creating a festive atmosphere!

These things smell amazing when burned. I know a lot of people have problems with their lights and I had problems too at first. The instructions say you need to ignite a good flame and then it will go out and smolder. Getting a good flame with a lighter is difficult and may require a few re-ignitions. This annoyed me, and I used my cook butane blowtorch instead. I get pretty good flames this way. Works perfectly! These torches are great for coloring buns or melting cheese! Worth $10 if you…

Authentic Pine Scent - Strong

They have a very authentic pine scent that I love. It took a few tries to learn how to light them, but it's not very difficult. Hold the flame on it until it glows like a cigarette (this will take a few seconds). Then blow out the flame. Lighting them up after they've gone out can be tricky, but many of them come boxed. I just buy a new one, on rare occasions I have to delete it. They work very well because a lot of smell comes out of one piece. For my taste, the smell can accumulate quickly in

The best incense you will ever buy!

I bought the same incense from a country store catalog that I received in the mail. For some reason they stopped selling them and I was so upset when they stopped selling them. I couldn't believe it when I saw her here. I HAD to get something else. They smell the same as in redwoods or in the forest. This is by far my favorite incense stick of all time and I will continue to buy it as long as it sells. It makes you want to spend many holidays in the mountains and even better to live in the…
