Nice for craft and sewing storage

I love the yarn bowl with lid! Nice warm color with a nice finish. It was a birthday present and my girlfriend was delighted! And her husband, who lived in Minneapolis before he married, knows your business!

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • So far so good

Extra Small: Craft & Sewing Storage

This item will not hold a single skein of yarn. You can if you roll a small strand into a circle. However, if you are looking for something that fits a regular size skein, then pay close attention to the size of the item you are purchasing for the size of skein you use most often.

Too small for standard skeins

I knitted a crocheted blanket as a gift, it was necessary to hold the strands somewhere so that they would not hang out. This bowl is too small for a standard ball (e.g. red heart, karron, lion sign etc.) but may fit a ball of yarn (haven't tested yet).

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • poorly thought out

A stylish yet practical way to keep yarn and needles under control.

I was hesitant to buy this but now I can't do without it. It holds a 50 gram ball of yarn and distributes it as needed. Two needle holes ensure my stitches don't fall off when I'm not knitting - I just leave my knitting there.

Pros
  • Storage for crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Very expensive

does not hold large strands of yarn.

It's beautiful and does what any yarn bowl should do. However, it was sold with the promise that it would contain large skeins of yarn. It's not like this. It pretty much holds what my OTHER yarn bowl will hold. So it would actually be misleading to say it's larger or that it can hold large skeins of yarn. If it's meant to hold a middle strand, it's pretty and does the job. But remember the caveat above.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Something Else

Small but mighty

Bought as a present for a friend who knits with a crochet hook. It was a lot smaller than I expected, but my expectations are my fault for not looking carefully at the description. I took it for granted that it would fit a regular sized ball of yarn, but that's impossible. My friend said to roll the yarn into balls and then it would fit. I have no idea if that's so or what, but it seems like a lot of unnecessary work if you ask me! In any case, it's a beautiful and well-made thing, I just wish…

Pros
  • Yarn Storage
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something
