Setup was easy: Label printer

So far this seems like a decent printer. The time will show. I had no trouble setting it up on a Windows network. Download the driver from the website and run the program. Start the software and select BCL 203. Click Add TCP/IP Port. Find out what the IP address of the device is. Enter the address, both fields will be filled with the IP address. Click Search. Windows most likely won't find it, so add a shared port, follow the instructions, and you're done. Open Printers & Scanners and send a…

Difficult to use, confusing instructions included with device

Not easy to use. BCL doesn't have their driver on their website when I tried to download it from their website. If you search google you will find a manual that says you need to install the zebra driver to use the device. Compared to the Zebra ZP 450, the BCL doesn't have 300 dpi quality in my opinion. Otherwise everything is fine, if you are looking for a cheaper device than the Zebra ZP 500, you can use the same driver as the ZP500. It's good. The pc will know it's a ZP500, only you will know

Doesn't work with Linux. Discontinued customer service

I have successfully installed this printer on a Windows PC with USB and Ethernet. Although the printouts didn't compare to the labels on the packages Revain received, they did the job. Two months after trying to set up a printer on Linux using CUPS. I ran the installer script and driver provided on their website. The resulting prints had jagged blank lines. I also tried the Zebra ZPL Universal Driver, which didn't produce better print quality. The firmware version was V10.03.05. They had…

Easy to use Best in Printers & Accessories

Incredible label printer I use this printer to print shipping labels. I sell a lot of stuff online and I love this printer. Setup is easy and printing is fast. It's much easier and more economical than printing labels on my regular printer. No ink and labels are cheaper. So far I haven't had to contact tech support, so I can't judge that. So far no problems. Connected, drivers installed and everything works!

Very complicated setup, bad instructions

For use with ethernet we had to install the drivers this way. This is for a BCL110 thermal printer (203 dpi) on Windows 10. We connected the USB cable and the Ethernet cable. Start installing the BCL series printer driver. Then run the BCL utility. Be sure to configure the TC/IP ports. Start getting information. Print a test page. If unsuccessful, add a new port, etc. If the test print was successful, follow these steps to access the UPS website. Install the latest Java version. Install Google…

Great value and easy setup

Setting up a printer for my Etsy shop. It's easy to use. It took me about an hour to load the driver correctly. Downloaded and installed twice. The second round worked. Makes ordering on Etsy much easier and saves time. The manual and driver are available online and the FAQ page helped with some questions. In general, I'm very happy with the cost. I looked at many of them and based on some reviews I chose this one.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Prints, drivers suck.

No manufacturer support for this product. Tried several drivers and still couldn't format the labels properly. Technical support is not possible. directions are not clear. I returned it.

Fast quality, connected printing, perfect for my needs

I print about 2,000 labels a year. I used standard 8.5 x 11, two (2) labels per sheet on a laser printer. I needed something more economical. After a lot of searching and researching, I settled on the BCL110 4 x 6 Ethernet/USB label printer. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. Installation was similar to installing any printer on a Windows PC, after installing the drivers for the first time, of course. You download drivers from the website. The printer prints very quickly and as…
