This fits my CJ7 like butter! Looks great and solid to refresh the faded original upholstery toilet. I found it easier to first attach the foam to the roll bar and then place the cover on top. I'm not sure how else you could get a sleek look.

As usual, the Bestop quality is excellent. I installed this on a 1980's CJ7 and it looks and fits perfect. Please note that according to the instructions, you must glue the foam inserts to the fabric before assembly. I have found that it is MUCH easier to tie the foam to the poles first and then close the fabric.

it was almost impossible to put on. The fabric and foam have not been glued so it's up to you. Zippers are tiny and start/stop at the wrong ends. If you pull too hard, the zippers will break and you'll have to start over. I used to have best stops and that was good, that was bad.

A little difficult to put the cover on the upholstery. worked better than the guide version. I would give it 5 stars but it's a bit flimsy at the seams, tore a small hole when assembling to close it, but looks fine once installed.

Looks great. Not an easy install on my '86 CJ7. After trying several times to follow the instructions provided, which were meant to be very similar to trying a herd of cats, I decided to try a different method. In the end I taped the foam padding to the arch and then popped the lid open. It was still difficult, especially trying to close the 45 degree support bar. Total time from start to finish. I recently installed this case on my wife's 81 CJ5. The quality of all Bestop products is fantastic. The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is that the foam is a lower quality density compared to the factory foam. In addition, the product is not delivered "ready to install". It is necessary to lay out the cover on a clean surface and apply foam to the appropriate areas.
