This product has potential but two main disadvantages Charger or other "wall" device. 2) An LED bulb advertised as a "night light" is too bright for this purpose. A big improvement would be to provide a switch to turn it off.

We've had it for 9 months with no problems but today we had our first bad thunderstorm since we received it. There was lightning very close by, we didn't lose power but the TV turned off and wouldn't turn back on. I hope the seller supports their product and I will update my review if this is the case. Handy for plugging into the side of a kitchen island when I need to charge my phone and connect various small devices. One issue, as mentioned in previous reviews, is that it doesn't screw into an outlet like some. This makes unplugging two-handed as the cords are snug and when the device is unplugged it can be pulled out of the socket.

However, because the outlet was near the bedside table and near the floor, it didn't get enough ambient light needed to "turn off" the night lights. The shape around the outlets severely limits what you can put into that outlet. I don't know why there are so many high ratings. I can only use three normal exits because my large stone only fits in the middle due to the raised edges above and below the exits. I would rate this much higher if I could use more of these. I love the night light feature because mine is used in the bathroom so it's perfect for seeing in the dark without having blindingly bright lights at night.

Seriously. Which psycho invents a night light without a switch? I guess it was my fault for not reading carefully enough, but I remember thinking... who the hell would invent a product like this without a switch? That's why I didn't bother. I did find an internal switch though, so I'm fine. Rzhunimagu!

I bought this to put next to my bed. Works very well, loads everything without problems. My only complaint is the brightness of the night light, and since it's in the shade next to my bed, it never turns off. The light disturbs sleeping so it had to be moved to another room and replaced with an insulating block.

Please note that the element must be installed in the reverse configured outlet. This item assumes ground is DOWN, which is incorrect according to electrical specs. If you installed it correctly, the object will be upside down and the night light will shine up, not down. If like me you have OCD and it bothers you, don't buy this.

This is a good electrical expander which has allowed me to create a good charging station for all my electronics. I would give 5 stars if the company had a central screw to attach this unit to an outlet. When the power plug is pulled, the device automatically disconnects from the wall socket. Yes, my socket is new. This shows how well made the device is: whatever you plug into it, it stays on.

I have bought more than 4 and they are all fantastic. However, I can agree with others, the light is very bright however it's not bad for children and in places where you need a lighted space such as a bedroom. B. on stairs or in the garage. If you have tons of wall warts, consider getting 1 foot extension cords and that will help. It's very versatile with six ports and four USBs, so plenty for a small device and still looks clean.
