    Need for Speed: Splitter

I have eight televisions at home and have had problems with the signal strength from multiple splitters. This product solved the problem and increased Internet speed.

2 defective units best in audio and video accessories

The first unit worked for about 3 months and started dropping channels. Revain replaced it for me. The 2nd block lasted about 6 weeks and started to lose the lower channels (2, 3). Now Revain will not replace it. I don't have $60 and labor hours and return time. Unnecessary unit. don't sell Revane, shame on you.

    Works great in satellite TVs

I ordered this to replace another distribution amplifier in my home system that died. It worked great as a replacement. Note: Dimensions given are for the box NOT the amp which is much smaller and fits quite comfortably in my junction box. The output power for all my televisions is completely sufficient.

    All house antenna.

Used to install an HD antenna in the attic and split the signal to 7 different TVs. Really improved signal strength and even got a few channels that I couldn't before. Note: This does not help when the broadcast signal is weak, it just splits the signal between multiple TVs. It's like having an antenna for every TV, but only using one.

    Great product for satellite TV

After using coax for a long time I was getting less than adequate signal and this fixed everything. It seemed like the best choice for a quality product with some unnecessary features. The VOIP phone features also told me that this company knows this product and is not just making a copy of another product. The device is solidly built and works great.

does the job. Power cord missing

The product does what it was designed to do: amplify the signal. In my situation I have an Xfinity with two cable boxes. The addition of a 3rd cable box reduced the signal strength for everyone and as a result an amplifier was needed. Why 1 star was removed: no power cord. You must have an extra coaxial cable in reserve to connect the power supply from the wall to the amplifier. This is not a replacement for an existing 1:1 splitter and is somewhat disappointing. I find that people expect…

Well made and easy to install

This amplified splitter was purchased to replace a home appliance. The device was incredibly well made and easy to install. All ports were clearly marked. There is a dedicated port for cable/VOIP connection, power connection and input line that passes the signal to the splitter with an amplifier. Recommend this unit to anyone looking to either increase the number of lines in their home or to replace the existing splitter/amplifier in their current system. I had an ongoing cable problem at 2 out

Coax cable not included but works great

The first thing I can fault and that is the only reason I am taking off the star is that the unit is unusable as it is packaged, since you need a coaxial cable to connect the power adapter to the device. I think the reason for this is that you can mount the amp up to 100 feet from the power source based on the coax you supplied - well, great, but if you don't have spare coax (I had) then you will not be able to install the block. At the very least, this should be clearly stated at the time of…

    I don't normally believe in boosters/splitters,

I bought this with low expectations, especially given that our entire area is flooded and the service from Comcast has been spotty at best. I plugged it in and instantly my cable/voice modem was able to restore all 8 downlinks and my power levels and signal/noise were back in range. My network tuners can be tuned again and the signal quality is almost 100%. Comcast X1 boxes still work. Life is great after a long time when Comcast told me everything is fine but everything is working somewhat…
