Perfect for sorting puzzles!

I love these shelves, they are perfect for sorting puzzle pieces. I love that they all come in different colors so I can often sort by the color that goes with the tray. Not super big, but just enough in my opinion to make it great for a 1000 piece puzzle. It also has a lid that can be put on when you're done with the puzzle. Definitely recommend them.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Fits

Just the right size so they don't take up too much space

These stackable trays are great. I bought two sets to complete 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. They fold up and the lid fits well, although it's a bit difficult to remove the lid without scattering parts. They are a handy size so you can place them on either side of the puzzle. The colors are good. I can ask someone to pass a yellow tray with blue figures or something.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • A few little things

Good product! Best at Puzzles

These trays work so well. I came across a puzzle that I and several other people had trouble putting together. My sister advised me to buy sorting trays. That's how I did it and it worked great. It's much easier to connect the same colors to see the shapes better. I bought a batch and liked it so much I ordered another batch. The great thing is that if you want to stop working on a puzzle, you stack the trays and have a lid so all the pieces don't fall off the table. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Minor issues

Once you learn how to fold it at an angle during use, it will be very easy.

I had problems with pieces falling on the floor and if I didn't see them right away my Yorkie would steal them. It will remain unknown until I complete the puzzle. Aggravating! There are no drop down sides as I used fans and the sorting makes it easy to complete the puzzle. Trays will stick together if not stacked at an angle during use. For storage, you can fold the top and wear it when you have cats. Not me, but friends who complain about cats fitting into puzzle pieces unsupervised.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some imperfections

very useful tools for jigsaw puzzle lovers

I have never used sorters before putting jigsaw puzzles together but decided to try. I'm glad I did! I found them quite useful for the 1000-3000 piece puzzles I usually make. I usually have key target colors that I first sort, collect, and then move on to the next target area. These trays are light enough when "filled" that they can be easily moved to the area of interest as you work. I love the bright colors and the stackability. I just need one more set to add to my "toolbox" but…

Ideal for small spaces

I feel like this is exactly what I need. I'm working on a 1000 piece Ravenburger stamp right now and it's perfect. I understand some people need large containers but they are very easy to handle and move around without the bulk of large sorters. I can sort them well, fill them up and find what I need. Some people prefer white or black to see details better, but I prefer colors because it's very easy for me to reach the stack and identify the color group I'm looking for. The only thing they…

. 5 stars if it had both. A) There was strong cover. The one she's made of.

I would give 5 stars if it had both A) Had a tight lid. The one he has is made out of the same material as the cheap flimsy plastic you get from takeaway containers. You can also do without the top, because it NEVER lasts long, no matter how you look after it, and soon there will be no more tops. and B) if there was a way to connect all the layers, like in these layered bento boxes, so they all have a lid. Anyway, it won't be long before the layers come off and the bottom ones don't have the…

Rub with wax paper to keep them from sticking together

These trays are great. I love being able to sort the puzzle pieces or have a tray for each family member to work on. I specifically looked for trays in different colors so each of my children would have a different color. I also love that I can pre-sort the puzzle pieces for my kids to work on. I also like that they keep our jigsaw area (the large dog cage tray we keep on one side of the kitchen table) organized and clean. We used to use a few large wooden trays that we had on hand, but the…
