I hope someone from Black and Decker follows these comments. My vacuum cleaner died after about 6 months of use. Was a good vacuum cleaner until it stopped working. I would not currently recommend this product as the quality does not seem to be very good.

I loved this handheld for the first 2 months and then it went downhill. After 2 months the cheap plastic hinge broke, so since then I've been using tape as a temporary hinge (see picture). Well it worked for the next 8 months until the battery apparently died and it stayed charged/on for less than a minute. So this handheld vacuum cleaner from Black and Deck became unusable and scrap after about 10 months. So, Black and Decker has a 2 year warranty on it, but I didn't feel like driving 20 miles

We have been using this handheld vacuum daily for the past 3 years. The vacuum cleaner is excellent - collects dirt, dust and debris. But after 3 years the battery is discharged and only works for a few minutes, after which it becomes useless.
