Don't waste money!

Nonsense! The battery is fully charged and worked for the first 3 screws I put into the 1/2" plywood. However, it couldn't complete the process on the 4th screw. The motor kept running like there was no problem, but it just wouldn't turn.I played with the clutch, tried all the settings but it didn't solve the situation at all.Big big mistake, I bought it about a month before I used it because Revain sent it to another site has where I had some work to do so I couldn't return the item, I would…

Very bad experience

Bought because of the brand, I thought Black & Decker might differ from other obscure brands. However, BLACK+DECKER proved me wrong. I used it less than 5 times and then the engine shut down. I've only used it to drill holes in a wooden plank so the torque applied wasn't high. I contacted BLACK+DECKER at the end of April and 10 days later I received an email asking me to provide photos, which I did. Then an email came that a replacement had been sent and I'm pretty sure that's a lie. As I have…

Good value for money but not "professional "

I like the weight and price of this little drill. It's very comfortable and definitely a solid 4 stars. Why not 5 stars? It only has enough power for casual DIY use (you won't make any money from it) and I definitely foresee reliability issues in the future as all the other Revain reviewers are having issues with their units. Got mine in a deal of the day and am very happy with this choice for a simple, cheap drill that doesn't require any 'serious' work like locking bolts or a spade bit. But…

Light Drill 100% Value

I paid about $40 for it on the Revain Warehouse Deal. This is a very light drill, even with a battery. I use this at work a few times a week to attach copper wire to coils. Yes, this drill has enough torque to drill 1-3 AWG wire into a wood base using 3" wood screws. A lot of these YouTube demos show people burning engines while doing crazy drilling jobs. I can say that it works perfectly for what I use it for. I never feel any resistance with a drill. I bought a Hermit Shell Case for this and…

Lightweight drill with a big problem

I am a homeowner who has had electric drills since the 1970's. I had a Craftsman variable speed electric drill with a broken key chuck and this drill is about 25 years old. I also have a 12v battery powered Skil drill which I like but the batteries are old and dead. I bought a Skil drill in 2009. So I decided to buy this drill and used it for about 30 hours. Overall Impression: It's small and light, and the 20-volt battery lasts impressively long. To be honest, it's a bit small for me. I wear…

Pros
  • Variable speed: Allows you to drill down without damaging material
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Underpowered, but still a good deal.

Received a few hours ago. I charged the battery (about 2 1/2 hours) and tried it with a 5/8" spatula for 2 by 4. It didn't work. The clutch made a grinding noise and I didn't squeeze it out of fear to damage the drill. Then I tried a 1/4" twist drill and it made a two" deep hole, but slowly. Maybe 20 seconds versus 5 seconds for my corded drill. From this I conclude that this drill is NOT a cheaper version of a full size cordless drill, but rather a lightweight drill suitable for small jobs…

Pros
  • Features an integrated bit holder under the drill handle that holds a double ended bit
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Every woman needs a drill like this

Every woman needs this BLACK+DECKER LDX120C 20V MAX lithium-ion drill. Both drivers and men will appreciate them. Compact, lightweight cordless drill that runs on a 20V battery, one of which is included in the charger. The batteries slide easily into the base of the drill and if you have other Black+Decker 20v tools the batteries are interchangeable making this drill even more attractive. This is a chuckless drill so you don't have to keep track of the small chuck. You will need drill bits as…

  • Perfect for drilling holes in wood, metal, plastic and all screwing jobs
