Oil slick black with a few drops!

I use this in Clear Resin Smooth On 325. I do a lot of resin work on my YouTube channel, Cobwebs And Candlesticks. I make castles, skull lollipops, crow skulls, sensors and bat shields. A few drops of this 10 oz. CPezr resin is plentiful! It's inky black but only comes in a tiny bottle the size of an eye drop. Please make bigger bottles! This is an amazing product!

Pros
  • Sparkly
Cons
  • Appearance

Worked very well. mold and pour

I needed to darken some brown putty for a mahogany shelf and this product worked great. The end result was a crisp black in just a few drops, and the putty was still sandable and recoatable with no pigment change. I will buy more if needed. It would be a great idea for the manufacturer to have a clear section on the bottle so you can tell when to order more.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Durable

Not for silicone roofs

This is not a product defect! I was trying something it wasn't specifically designed for. I had an application where I had to tint the roof with liquid silicone. A full bottle of this pigment per 1 gallon of white silicone was virtually unchanged. What little was visible remained floating in the silicone like tiny particles. FYI if for some reason you are trying to do the same

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Sad packaging

This is the first epoxy stamp I've used so I'm no paint expert. However, I was shocked at how effective it was. One drop turned about half a cup of epoxy a deep black. I use epoxy, usually a tablespoon or so at a time. I dipped the toothpick into the container and simply dipped the tip of the toothpick into the epoxy and mixed it in.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

Does exactly what it says.

I mixed this product with a regular 2K epoxy from a hardware store and it seemed to work great. As the instructions say, this little bottle stains a lot of resin. I used 2 drops for about 3 grams of epoxy and honestly it turned DARK black. 2 drops is probably too much for such a small amount of epoxy. I was concerned that I was overdoing it and it would interfere with the healing of such a small amount, but seems ok. The result is a super dark, super glossy black.

Pros
  • Black Dye/Pigment
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works perfectly!

I used this Acraglas gel dye that I mixed up to mount an XS Big Dot Tritium scope and it better matched my parked Remington 870 barrel to adjust. I used 3 drops, the same amount that Acraglas recommends for the dye they ship with their kit, which comes in a very fragile "ketchup sachet". ๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyway, the epoxy came out nice and black, I don't think adding more would darken it, plus it comes in a plastic bottle which poses a much lower risk of punctures. I am very satisfied with this product, Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Add some epoxy (0.5% only)
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Deep Dark Black Abyss

I had a 7" long, 1/4" wide crack in a black granite countertop just in front of the sink. It sat there for a few years and I finally decided to refurbish it so I wouldn't be using the countertop for a few years. After some research it turned out that it would be best to use a two-part transparent epoxy with pigment. Two drops of black pigment is about 2-3 oz. made of transparent black epoxy resin. It froze as if it were a solid piece of black plastic. It had a glossy finish so keep that inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great with Clear Cast Plastic
Cons
  • Quick Guide
